Lisa walked in on two of her employees making out in her office. She calmly approached Sam and splashed coffee into his face. It was well-deserved. So, he apologized and promised that nothing like that would ever happen again. “You’re right”, Lisa said coldly, “Because you’re fired”. Sam got really nervous. His career was everything to him. But Lisa didn’t care for his pleas. Seeing there was nothing he could do to sway his boss, he took her laptop and threw it out the window as revenge. Lisa looked outside, smiled, and said that Sam had just ruined their CEO’s car. Soon, the man arrived, asking about who had thrown a laptop on his auto. Sam was ready to take responsibility. But Lisa interrupted him and suddenly took the blame. She told Sam to get back to work and went about her business.
Confused about what had just happened, Sam rushed to his friend for support. His mate pointed out that Lisa must have had a crush on him. “Think about it. She got angry when she saw you with another girl. Then, she protected you from the CEO and rehired you. She definitely doesn’t want you to leave”, the guy said cheerfully. Sam got happy at the idea that his boss had feelings for him. So, he decided to use Lisa to climb the corporate ladder faster.
