Have you ever dreamt of a totally different life?
At the airport, Alison overheard her husband flirting with another girl and telling her he was divorced. She looked at her wedding ring, then at him. He was smiling at the beautiful stranger, being very attentive and sweet – Alison had rarely seen him like this with her. She wasn’t sure of what to do. She just wanted to find a place to hide. On her way to the washroom, she bumped into a man and spilled her coffee on him. Alison apologized a dozen times and helped the guy clean up. Some time later, she heard that her flight had departed already. She panicked for a while. But when she realized that she had no reason to go after her husband, she just sat in the empty airport, looking at all the happy people passing by.
Soon, the man she met before sat beside her. He noticed how hurt Alison was. He smiled at her and apologized for making her miss her flight. Then, he handed her a plane ticket and asked if she wanted to go to Paris with him.
