Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: March 30, 2026

PayTube (“we,” “our,” or “us”) values your privacy and is dedicated to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains the types of information we collect from users of our website, PayTube.net, and associated services (collectively, the “Services”). It also describes how we use, share, and safeguard your information, as well as your rights under applicable laws—including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the UK GDPR / Data Protection Act 2018, where those laws apply. Depending on the processing activity, we rely on one or more lawful bases (such as performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent where required, or legal obligation). Where we ask for your consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

To provide and improve our Services, we collect various types of information. This information is gathered from you directly, automatically through your use of our platform, or from third-party sources.

1.1 Information You Provide to Us

When you create an account or interact with our platform, we collect the personal information you voluntarily share with us. This may include your name, email address, and password for account creation and login purposes. Additionally, we collect payment information to facilitate withdrawals using PayPal or bank transfer. If you contact customer support, participate in surveys, or provide feedback, we collect any information included in those communications, such as your name, email address, and the details of your inquiry or response.

The information you provide is essential for the functionality of our platform. For instance, your email address enables us to send you important updates about your account. We may also collect details if you voluntarily share content, participate in forums, or engage in any other interactive features on the platform.

1.2 Information We Collect Automatically

When you use our Services, we automatically collect information about your device, interaction with our platform, and usage behavior. This includes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, device model, and unique device identifiers. Usage data includes details about the pages you visit, features you interact with, and time spent on specific sections of our website.

We also employ cookies, pixels, and other tracking technologies to enhance your user experience, customize content, and improve our platform’s performance. These technologies collect data about your preferences, interactions, and navigation patterns to help us better understand how users engage with our Services. For more information on cookies and how to manage them, please review our Cookie Policy.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

In certain cases, we may obtain information about you from third parties. For example, analytics providers like Google Analytics help us understand user behavior and optimize our Services. Additionally, PayTube may obtain information about users from third-party sources, such as PayPal or banks, to enhance the functionality of the app or ensure compliance with legal and financial regulations. However, PayTube is not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of the information provided by these third parties. Users are advised to review and update their information regularly to ensure accurate records.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to deliver, improve, and secure our Services. Below is a detailed explanation of how we utilize your data:

  • Providing and Managing the Services: Your information allows us to create and manage your account, authenticate your identity, and process withdrawals.
  • Improving Platform Performance: By analyzing usage data, we identify trends, address technical issues, and optimize the user experience across devices and browsers.
  • Communicating with Users: We use your email address to send important updates, such as account notifications, system alerts, and changes to our policies. Where legally permitted, we may also send promotional materials tailored to your interests.
  • Personalization and Recommendations: Data collected through cookies and analytics helps us personalize your experience by recommending relevant content, services, or updates based on your behavior and preferences.
  • Ensuring Security and Preventing Fraud: We monitor activity to detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions, unauthorized access, and other malicious activities. Blockchain technology provides an additional layer of security by recording transactions transparently.
  • Compliance with Legal Obligations: Your data may be used to fulfill regulatory and tax obligations, respond to lawful requests by public authorities, and comply with applicable laws.

3. Sharing Your Information

Your information may be shared with trusted parties under specific circumstances, always with a commitment to protecting your privacy:

  • Service Providers: We work with third-party providers who assist us in operating our Services. These may include hosting providers, data analytics companies, customer support platforms, and—if you opt in to SMS—messaging providers such as Intuit Mailchimp to deliver text messages on our behalf. These providers process data only on our behalf and are contractually obligated to maintain confidentiality.
  • Compliance with Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information to comply with subpoenas, court orders, or other legal processes. This includes cooperation with government authorities or law enforcement agencies when legally required.
  • Business Transactions: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of PayTube’s assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
  • Aggregated or Anonymized Data: For purposes such as research, analysis, or marketing, we may share data that has been aggregated or de-identified, ensuring it cannot be traced back to an individual user.

Regional and cross-border disclosures

Lawful bases for processing (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)

When the GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar laws apply, we process personal data only where we have a lawful basis: for example, to perform our contract with you (providing the Services); for our legitimate interests (such as securing the platform, improving features, and analytics that are not overridden by your rights); where you have given consent (for example, certain marketing cookies or SMS where required); or to comply with legal obligations. We will make reasonable efforts to honor your rights under those laws as described in the “Your Privacy Rights” section below.

International data transfers

PayTube is based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers (such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or UK authorities, or other lawful transfer mechanisms) and supplementary measures where appropriate.

Other U.S. state privacy laws

Residents of certain U.S. states (for example Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Virginia) may have additional rights regarding access, deletion, correction, opt-out of certain processing, and appeal of our decisions, depending on the law in your state. You may exercise applicable rights by contacting privacy@PayTube.net and describing your request. We will verify your identity as required by law.

Children and teens

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in violation of applicable law. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at privacy@PayTube.net so we can take appropriate action. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your region, you may only use the Services as permitted under our Terms of Service (including any parental or guardian consent requirements).

Artificial intelligence and similar technologies

We may use machine learning, automation, or third-party tools that incorporate artificial intelligence to operate, secure, and improve the Services (for example, fraud detection, spam prevention, personalization, or support assistance). We implement safeguards designed to protect your privacy and to keep human oversight where appropriate. If a decision that significantly affects you is taken solely on the basis of automated processing where the law requires, we will provide information about your rights, including how to obtain human review where applicable.

SMS Text Messages and Reminders

If you provide a mobile phone number and opt in to receive text messages, we may send you SMS messages about your account and our Services—for example, reminders about tasks, payouts, security, or similar notices. Message frequency varies depending on your activity and our communications.

We use Intuit Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group LLC, d/b/a Mailchimp) as a service provider to deliver SMS messages on our behalf. Mailchimp processes your mobile number and related data in accordance with our instructions and its own policies. You can read more at mailchimp.com/legal.

Opt-out and help. You can cancel SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you opt out, you may receive a one-time confirmation that we received your request. You may also be able to manage preferences in your PayTube account settings, if available, or by contacting us at support@paytube.net. For assistance, reply HELP or email support@paytube.net.

Costs and carriers. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not sell your phone number or SMS consent as a standalone list.

4. Your Privacy Rights

We respect your rights regarding your personal information and provide mechanisms for you to exercise those rights under applicable laws:

4.1 Rights Under the CCPA/CPRA (California Residents)

If you are a California resident, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we collect about you, including the categories of data collected, purposes of use, and any third parties with whom it is shared.
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and operational exceptions.
  • Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, where applicable. PayTube does not sell personal information for money in the traditional sense; we describe any limited sharing in this policy and in our California notice.
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you, where applicable.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information, where applicable under California law.

For more detail, see our California Privacy Rights page on this site. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@paytube.net or use the methods described in that notice.

4.2 Rights for the EEA, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom

If you are in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability where applicable. You may also object to processing for direct marketing and, where processing is based on consent, withdraw consent at any time. If we process your data based on legitimate interests, you may object and we will balance your rights against our interests. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country of residence, place of work, or where an issue arises. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@paytube.net. If we are required to appoint an EU or UK representative under applicable law, we will identify that representative in this policy or an addendum.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to satisfy legal, accounting, tax, and fraud-prevention requirements. Retention periods vary depending on the type of data and the nature of our relationship with you. When retention is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify personal information in accordance with our internal procedures, except where we must retain it longer to comply with law or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

6. Security Measures

PayTube implements robust security measures, including encryption, firewalls, and secure data storage, to protect your information. While we strive to safeguard your data, no system can guarantee absolute security. You are encouraged to use strong passwords to enhance your account’s protection.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or our Services. When we make material changes, we will provide notice as required by law—for example, by posting the updated policy on this page, updating the effective date, or sending you an email or in-app notice where appropriate. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
